An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our thriving GP practice as a Trainee / Assistant Practice Manager. This is a newly created role, ideal for someone currently in a team leader position or ready to take the next step in their career. Full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient daily running of the practice. We are a training practice, passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our staff.

We are a friendly and progressive training practice led by three Partners. Our multidisciplinary team includes Salaried GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Physician Associates, and Medical Receptionists/Administrators. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and investing in staff training and development.

The core responsibilities include recruitment, staff training, performance monitoring, operational support, patient care, communication, system monitoring, and fostering team culture. Additional training will prepare the candidate to deputise for the Practice Manager and support various administrative functions.
Essential: GCSE in English C or above, strong teamwork and administrative skills, attention to detail.
Desirable: Experience in healthcare office procedures, working in busy environments, A-level qualifications.
