Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor to join our Ossett-based technical team. You’ll train toward BOHS P402, P403 and P404 while supporting management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across diverse sites.

The role blends field work with office reporting, offering hands-on experience in asbestos surveying within a supportive, growing national consultancy. The position includes training, development opportunities, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in surveys.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced surveyors with Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys per HSG264.
• Support reinspection surveys and audits.
• Learn air monitoring and four-stage clearance per HSG248.
• Shadow supervision of licensed asbestos removal projects.
• Assist with producing accurate survey reports and docs.
• Develop technical knowledge to advise clients over time.
• Maintain high health, safety and professionalism.
• Represent Bradley Environmental Consultants on client sites.
