Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd is offering a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor role in Liverpool with a starting salary of £24,784.50 per year, plus overtime and extensive benefits. No prior experience required; a 6‑month training program leading to BOHS P402 qualification will be provided at the Manchester Head Office.

Upon qualification, you will conduct asbestos surveys across various properties, starting with domestic sites and progressing to commercial and industrial projects, while

• You must be eager to learn and ready to commit to passing the BOHS P402 qualification.
• This role requires focus, attention to detail, and reliability under pressure.
• Comfortable working in diverse environments—residential homes, schools, hospitals, factories, and more.
• Clear and professional communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and learn to conduct asbestos surveys on domestic properties.
• Use a tablet to accurately record site data and findings.
• Learn how to check and approve reports, making amendments where necessary.
• Understand and apply legislation related to asbestos surveying.
• Progress from domestic to commercial and industrial surveying as your skills develop.
• Work closely with supervisors, clients, and members of the public in professional environments.
• Travel to various client sites across the Northwest—and occasionally beyond.
• Participate in weekend rotas and work away from home when required.
• Follow company policies regarding vehicle use and maintenance.
