Job summary

Pacifica in Harrogate is seeking a Trainee White Goods Engineer – Field Based. You will receive full training and dedicated mentoring to become a qualified appliance repair technician.

Salary £26,500–£27,000, reviewed after training; OTE up to £50,000+ with bonus. Benefits include a company van, tools and training, and 30 days leave. No prior white goods experience required, but hands-on mechanical/electrical skills help.

Qualifications

• No prior white goods repair experience required, but hands-on mechanical or electrical experience and comfort with using tools are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Learning to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines, tumble dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and electric cookers.
• Visiting customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Building on your mechanical/electrical experience to troubleshoot and solve problems on-site.
• Recording and managing job details using our in-house engineer software.
• Following guidance from your mentor while building your skills and confidence.
• Providing excellent customer service, explaining repairs clearly and professionally.
• Continuously developing your technical skills through structured training and on-the-job experience.
