Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust invites applications for a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Care of the Elderly and Acute Frailty Service. The role supports MSc studies in Advanced Clinical Practice with the goal of becoming a Band 8a on completion.

The post requires a minimum of 30 hours per week (0.8 WTE) and competences in Non-Medical Prescribing as appropriate to the practitioner’s regulator.

Qualifications

• Experience in Care of the Elderly and Frailty.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities.
• Excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical governance for the Care of the Elderly and Acute Frailty service.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver care across settings.
• Implement evidence-based care and promote patient safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with other services to meet national and local guidelines.
