Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is inviting applications for a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Care of the Elderly and Acute Frailty Service. The post progresses to Band 8a after MSc completion, with a minimum 30 hours per week (0.8 WTE) in line with HE/NHS guidelines.

The role requires Non-Medical Prescribing competence and extensive experience in Care of the Elderly, along with strong leadership, management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Competence in Non-Medical Prescribing required.
• Extensive experience in Care of the Elderly with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care of Care of the Elderly and Acute Frailty patients with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical leadership and guide junior medical and nursing staff in protocols.
• Deliver care across outpatient, inpatient, virtual clinics, ward rounds and other settings.
