Role: Trainee Accounts Assistant

Location: Stirling

Your new role

Ready to head into the world of work? A Traineeship could be your ideal start to the next phase of your career. You’ll learn about the job, on the job, whilst we support you through further studies, so you’ll gain qualifications as well as work experience and skills.

About the role:

  • Involvement in month end processes and reporting timetable
  • Assisting with year-end procedures and tasks as required
  • Credit control duties to ensure that all amounts owed are recovered as quickly as possible
  • Matching purchase orders, GRN’s and invoices
  • Assisting with monthly CIS submissions
  • Working across all finance department functions as required in order to deliver on timetables and departmental requirements

What you'll need:

  • Prepared to work towards HND/HNC
  • Nat 4/5/GCSE equivilent in Maths and English required
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Methodical approach
  • Computer literate and numerate
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Willingness to learn
  • Dedication and ambition to develop within the role

About you:

As a Trainee we understand this may be one of your first roles so we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in Accounts. Experience within this sector would be great however if you can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach with excellent written and verbal communications skills this could be the role for you. We will support you through your Traineeship to develop and progress in your chosen career path.
