Pro Talent is recruiting a Trainee Accountant in Crowborough, East Sussex. You’ll join a small, close-knit team and start working on real client tasks early, with senior accountants nearby to guide you.

You’ll gain broad exposure across accounts, tax and bookkeeping from day one, with full study support towards AAT and a clear route onto ACA or ACCA afterwards. Local candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• Some accounting or practice experience, even a year of it.
• Studying towards AAT, or ready to start.
• Local to Crowborough or the surrounding villages.
• Keen to learn, happy to ask questions, comfortable picking up the phone.

Responsibilities

• Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Bookkeeping and VAT returns
• Assisting with personal and corporate tax returns
• Working across cloud accounting software
• Speaking with clients and handling day-to-day queries
