Job summary

PKF Francis Clark is recruiting a Trainee Accountant in the South West England to begin a structured training programme while you study for the AAT qualification. You’ll gain hands-on experience across business advisory work and have the option of pursuing the ACA pathway as your career progresses.

From day one you’ll be supported with study funding and a clear progression plan, with opportunities to develop technical and professional skills while balancing study commitments and work

Qualifications

• No previous accountancy experience required; potential, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, positive attitude and initiative.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of clients in the Business Advisory department.
• Learn to prepare financial information and assist clients with queries.
• Work with colleagues in tax, audit and financial planning.
• Develop accounting and business skills to build a strong foundation for your career.
• Attend industry events to gain exposure to the sector.
