Job summary

PKF Francis Clark is recruiting an Apprentice Accountant to work with our Professional Practices team in the South West. You’ll work on real client projects while working toward your AAT qualification, developing practical accounting and advisory skills from day one.

You’ll gain exposure to accounting, tax, audit and analysis, with a clear pathway to Senior Manager roles as you progress. The firm offers a strong culture, supportive networks and long‑term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• No previous accountancy experience required but shows potential and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are valued.
• UCAS points requirement of 112 points (3 A Levels or equivalent) is expected.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above.

Responsibilities

• Support with year-end and management accounts and financial analysis.
• Assist with taxation, VAT and company secretarial matters.
• Contribute to a broad range of accounting, audit and business advisory services.
• Develop technical and professional skills through structured training.
