Job summary

PKF Francis Clark in Plymouth is seeking a Trainee Accountant to work towards an AAT qualification while gaining hands-on experience. The firm funds training, supports you from day one, and offers a structured career path within a friendly, inclusive culture.

You’ll join the Business Advisory team, handling tasks across accounting, tax, audit and financial planning, with opportunities to learn from specialists and progress toward ACA via the Combined Pathway. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 112 UCAS points (from three A Levels or equivalent)
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required

Responsibilities

• Join the Business Advisory department and support a wide range of clients, from small local businesses and family-run companies
• Learn to prepare financial information and support clients with queries
• Work with colleagues in tax, audit and financial planning
• Develop practical accounting and business skills and build professional relationships
