Job summary

Apprentify in Manchester is seeking a confident Trainee Account Manager to join our commercial team. This hybrid role focuses on building relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

You will receive structured training, ongoing coaching, and support from experienced account management professionals, with a clear route to Account Manager and senior roles as your skills develop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, account management, recruitment, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another customer-facing environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Structured training and ongoing coaching with progression opportunities.
• Hybrid working with full training and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Act as a key point of contact for allocated clients.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Manage customer enquiries and provide a high level of service.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and develop existing accounts.
• Follow up with customers to maintain engagement and identify future opportunities.
• Support the wider sales team with new business and account development activity.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information within the CRM.
• Monitor account performance and work towards individual revenue targets.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive an excellent experience.
• Participate in regular training, coaching, and development sessions.
• Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales and performance targets.
