Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful independent commercial insurance brokerage in the South Leeds area. Having achieved a consistent level of growth year on year, they have now created a brand new role suited to an individual interested in becoming a client facing “Account Executive”.

This will be a dual role; you will be provided with small client portfolio to start with, where you will be able to develop client relationships and attend client visits, whilst at the same time, working closely with the sales team, you will be provided with quality new leads and incoming enquiries, in order to start to grow you book of business.

Ideal applicants will have a good all round commercial insurance knowledge, commercial broking or account handling experience preferred, be smart, professional, and proactive and enjoy meeting clients and winning new business. Progress towards CII qualifications would be advantageous and will be fully supported, previous use of Acturis would also be great, but not essential.

The working environment is professional and enjoyable, with modern and appealing offices, a nice team, free parking and plenty of flexibility for those with family commitments (schools runs etc.).

This role is ideally suited to those currently in a commercial insurance broking, account handling, desk top sales or underwriting positons, looking to move up into a full Account Executive positon.
