Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is partnering with a specialist in trailers to recruit a skilled Trailer Technician for their Dukinfield site. The role focuses on servicing, inspections and repairs of trailers and some HGVs, with accurate job sheets and preventative maintenance to ensure MOT readiness.

You will haveNVQ/City & Guilds Level 1-3 or equivalent and welding experience is a plus; salary ranges from £41,000 to £44,000 per year with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings and overtime paid at 1.5x, plus

• Experience working on trailers or HGVs.
• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 1-3 certificates or equivalent.
• Welding experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform general servicing and inspections on a variety of trailers and some HGVs.
• Execute repairs following depot procedures.
• Complete job sheets as required.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT.

Job description

Job Title: Trailer Technician

Location: Dukinfield

Salary: £41,000 - £44,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications

Hours: Monday to Friday + 1 in 2 Sat am (3.5hrs paid at 1.5X)

Overtime: Available and paid at 1.5X

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Trailer Fitter to join our privately owned multi-site commercial vehicle and trailer specialist team at our specialist trailer repair and refurbishment centre in Dukinfield.
