Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and monitoring of traffic engineering, road safety and traffic management schemes.
• Identify high-risk locations using collision data and surveys and develop mitigation measures.
• Provide engineering advice to Members, councils, developers and stakeholders.
• Assist with public consultations and project budgeting, procurement and performance monitoring.
• Prepare technical reports and business cases for committees and senior management.
• Promote best practice in traffic operations, network management and sustainable transport.
