Applicants must hold a valid NPORS or CPCS Traffic Marshall card, have at least two years on large construction sites, and provide a recent reference.

Randstad UK CPE team is looking ot onboard an experienced Traffic Marshall for a residential project in Reading.

• Job Title: Traffic Marshall (Construction)
• Location: Reading
• Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Guiding vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Using hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate clearly with drivers and operators.
• Monitoring the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and taking immediate action to mitigate risks.
• Implementing established traffic management plans and ensuring the safety of pedestrians at crossing points.
• Assisting with site security to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate records of traffic flow or incidents.
• Participating in toolbox talks and reporting any safety hazards to site management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large-scale construction sites.
• A recent, checkable work reference is essential.
