Job summary

Randstad UK CPE team is recruiting a Traffic Marshall for an ongoing residential project in Marlborough, Wiltshire. The role involves managing vehicle and pedestrian flow on site and ensuring safety standards are met.

You will hold a valid NPORS or CPCS card, have at least 2 years of experience on large construction sites, and provide a recent checkable reference. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Guiding vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Using hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate clearly with drivers and operators.

Monitoring the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and taking immediate action to mitigate risks.

Implementing established traffic management plans and ensuring the safety of pedestrians at crossing points.

Assisting with site security to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate records of traffic flow or incidents.

Participating in toolbox talks and reporting any safety hazards to site management.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller).

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large-scale construction sites.

A recent, checkable work reference is essential.

A proactive approach to site safety and clear communication skills.
