Job summary

DX is seeking a Traffic Manager to oversee depot service levels and ensure targets are met within budget. You will manage the traffic team, coordinate daily operations, and drive continuous improvements in service quality.

You will report to the Operations Manager and play a key role in ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient subcontractor management across UK operations.

• Previous experience in logistics or distribution required.

• Manage and produce daily and weekly reports as required.
• Ensuring collection conformance to standards
• Controls all key controls for vehicles.
• Monitors and reviews operational performance and takes timely action to address any issues.
• Ensure all company legal requirements are met.
• Close management of sub-contractors to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided in line with budgeted cost.
• Manage a robust pre-brief and de-brief process is maintained at all times.
• Route contingency planning
• Continually strive to improve service levels and reduce cost
• Health and safety management
• Manage Traffic team effectively

Role summary:

The Traffic Manager role reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring that depot service level delivery and collection targets are achieved in line with budget whilst ensuring that we deliver the correct service level to all our Customers in adherence with company compliance processes.

Essential criteria for this role

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry
