Job summary

Go Traffic Management is seeking a capable Traffic Manager to organise and lead on-site teams for contracted works across the South East region, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery and profitability.

You will supervise traffic management resources, coordinate with back-office teams, and drive compliance with all health and safety standards while maintaining client satisfaction and strong stakeholder relations.

Qualifications

• Lantra 12A, B, C and D qualifications required.
• Prefer Lantra LTMO or TSCO certification.
• Experience reading and relaying information on TM Drawings.
• Auditing experience or training qualifications an advantage.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all contract work complies with health, safety, welfare and environmental regulations while maximizing profitability.
• Ensure compliance with client authorisation requirements and specifications, and with company standards of service and quality systems.
• Control documentation, working closely with the back-office support team.
• Ensure health and safety competence of sub-contractors and direct labour is assessed prior to commencing work.
• Assess risk and ensure site-specific method statements and risk assessments are prepared ahead of works.
• Maintain focus on the commercials of the contract to deliver for clients and sustain profitability.
• Manage all resources e.g. labour, materials and plant.
• Take pride in delivery and aim for repeat business as a success metric.
• Demand safety and competence, including training requirements, and push for improvement in all teams.
• Manage and motivate a team, delegating where appropriate, leading by example.
• Develop people in your area with an ordered approach.
• Drive and lead client engagement to support growth plans.
