Job summary

Idverde is hiring Traffic Management Operatives (12AB/IPV Drivers) for evening and night shifts on high-speed roads. The role involves overseeing traffic management per NHSS 12AB standards and safely operating IPV vehicles to protect workers and road users. Training is available for NHSS 12 AB and HGV licence holders.

Traffic Management Operatives (12AB) / IPV Drivers

Hourly rate: Evenings & Nights

£13.00-£13.99 - dependent on experience & qualifications held.

Contract type: Permanent, Full-time

Working hours: Monday-Friday between the hours of 17:00-07:00. 40-50+ hours per week with weekend overtime also available at enhanced rate.

About the role

Due to recent growth in our TM team, we currently have opportunities for multiple 12AB Operatives / Impact Protection Vehicle (IPV) Drivers, who will be responsible for overseeing and delivering safe, compliant traffic management operations on high-speed roads in accordance with Chapter 8 and NHSS 12AB standards. The role combines on-site operations with the safe operation of IPV vehicles to protect workforce and road users during mobile or short-duration works.

Requirements
