Go Traffic Management is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operative to support traffic schemes on a range of projects. The role requires flexibility for day and night shifts, including some weekends, with a proactive, safety-first approach.

Shifts run 19:00–05:00. Overtime is paid at 1.25x between 09:00 and 00:00 and 1.5x from 00:00 to 05:00. LANTRA qualifications and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d accreditation as a minimum TTMBC, 12d (M1-M2)
• Lantra 12a/b accreditation, IPV driver, foreman advantageous
• Understand differences between Chapter 8 and Safety at Street Works and Road Works (red book)
• Full valid UK driving licence
• Read and understand CAD drawings
• Mechanical ability related to Traffic Lights (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Oversee traffic management methods: Stop/Go boards, signals, convoy working, road/lane closures and diversions
• Ensure work follows safe methods and best practice
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements for traffic works
• Follow procedures; identify areas for improvement and report to line manager
• Perform daily vehicle checks for cleanliness and safety
• Promote positive company image through attire and site cleanliness
• Demonstrate initiative to find process improvements
• Assist the public and direct them through safe site lines
• Escalate to management when intervention is required
