Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Traffic Management Operative for a late shift in Rainham. The role involves managing traffic schemes, ensuring safety, and maintaining high HSE standards. Flexible days/nights and some weekend work are required.

Overtime is paid at 1.25x after 17:00. Key responsibilities include directing traffic, risk assessment, vehicle checks, and maintaining a professional site image. Lantra qualifications and a valid UK driving licence are essential; CAD reading ability is

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d accreditation the minimum TTMBC recognised qualification.
• Lantra 12a/b accreditation is advantageous for progression.
• IPV driver and foreman experience are preferred.
• Must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings relevant to the works.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all traffic management methods including Stop/Go boards and portable signals.
• Ensure work complies with safe methods and best practice procedures.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements for traffic works.
• Identify improvement areas and report to the line manager.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Promote the company image through uniform, attitude and site cleanliness.
• Show initiative to identify improvements and efficiency gains.
• Assist the public and guide them safely through site lines.
• Escalate to management when intervention is required.
