Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited is seeking a Traffic Management Operative to support schemes across various projects. You will oversee traffic management methods and ensure safety and efficiency on site, with work on days, nights, and some weekends.

You must hold LANTRA 12d (TTMBC) or higher, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to read CAD drawings. The role offers a permanent contract in Crooklands with hourly pay in the range £12.21–£16.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Lantra 12a/b accreditation
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to read CAD drawings

Responsibilities

• Oversee all traffic management methods: Give/Take, Priority, Stop/Go boards, portable signals, convoy working, lane closures and diversions
• Ensure work follows safe methods and best practice
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements for traffic works
• Follow procedures and report improvements to line manager
• Carry out daily vehicle checks for cleanliness and safety
• Promote a positive company image through attire, site cleanliness and conduct
• Identify opportunities for improvements and take initiative
• Direct the public safely through site lines when required
• Know when management intervention is needed
