Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited is seeking an experienced Traffic Management Operative for night shifts in Radlett. You will manage traffic schemes, ensure safety, and support efficient production within health and safety standards.

Shifts 19:00–05:00 with overtime rates: 1.25x between 09:00 and 00:00, and 1.5x between 00:00 and 05:00. Must hold LANTRA 12d (TTMBC) and related accreditations; full UK driving licence; CAD reading; weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Lantra 12d accreditation as a minimum TTMBC, 12d (M1-M2).
• Lantra 12a/b accreditation, IPV driver; foreman advantageous.
• Understand the differences between Chapter 8 and Safety at Street Works (red book).
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to read CAD drawings related to works.
• Mechanical ability related to traffic lights is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all methods of traffic management: Stop/Go boards, portable signals, convoy working, lane closures, diversions.
• Ensure work follows safe methods and best practice; conduct risk assessments and method statements.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain site safety and cleanliness.
• Promote positive company image through attire, attitude, and site upkeep.
• Assist the public and direct them through safe site lines; escalate as needed.
• Identify improvements and report to line management.
