Job summary

Go Traffic Management is seeking a proactive supervisor to act as the main client liaison and oversee day-to-day site activities across schemes. You will coordinate resources, manage on-site teams including subcontractors, and ensure strict compliance with paperwork and safety requirements.

The role requires 12D qualification, strong organisation, and excellent communication skills to liaise with depot managers, clients, and operatives.

Responsibilities

• Act as GTM point of contact for the client and oversee day-to-day site activities
• Attend client site visits and surveys; brief operatives on work requirements
• Check daily job packs and TM plans; ensure resources and kit are available
• Monitor client programme against booked works; liaise with Depot Manager
• Lead programme meetings and communicate potential requirements
• Supervise operatives and subcontractors to maintain quality on site
• Ensure paperwork and compliance checks are completed and filed
• Conduct monthly site audits with the Depot Manager; flag concerns
• Coordinate 24/7 call-out duties via the Rota system
• Hand over to night shift; manage runs and allocations
• Collaborate with regional and Depot Managers on staff training and recruitment
• Assist with CAD requests and verify CAD drawings with the CAD team
• Maintain vehicle contents and PPE compliance; liaise with sub-contractors
• Support with client queries and site attendance as needed
• Provide out-of-hours duty manager support as required
• Deliver regular team briefings and input for monthly/bimonthly updates
