Job summary

Doocey Traffic Management is seeking a CAD Technician to produce high-quality, risk-assessed CAD drawings across diverse nationwide projects. You will work on traffic management schematics, ensuring outputs meet legislation and client specifications, with attention to detail and strong collaboration with operations.

The role requires experience in CAD/traffic management within civil engineering or highways, plus Sector Scheme 12D M7 and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Grade 4-9 or equivalent required.
• Sector Scheme 12D M7 qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Full UK driving licence and proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality risk-assessed CAD drawings in line with current legislation, industry standards and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain and manage the CAD register for invoicing and audit purposes.
• Ensure all drawings are completed and submitted within agreed timescales, meeting client SLAs.
• Attend tender and project meetings to understand scope, requirements and constraints.
• Produce clear and accurate sketches to support tender submissions and project planning.
• Provide technical support to the operations team and respond to client queries.
• Collaborate with administration and operations to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
