Job summary

Red Rock Consultants Ltd is seeking a technically minded CAD Technician to join our West Midlands team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will produce high-quality, risk-assessed CAD drawings for traffic management across diverse highways projects.

You will work with operations, administration and project teams to deliver outputs within timescales and client SLAs, maintaining CAD registers and providing technical support while developing your career in traffic management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CAD Technician or Traffic Management CAD role.
• Experience within civil engineering, highways or traffic management sectors.
• Strong knowledge of CAD drawings and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, risk-assessed CAD drawings meeting client requirements.
• Maintain CAD register and support invoicing/audit processes.
• Attend tender/project meetings to capture scope and constraints.
• Create sketches to support tenders and planning.
• Provide technical support to operations and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project delivery.
• Interpret technical information to produce accurate outputs.
• Maintain attention to detail and consistency across drawings.
• Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines amid changing requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with Traffic Management legislation and best practices.
• Contribute to CAD process improvements and standards.
