Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Traffic Administrator in Derby to support a busy transport operation. You’ll act as a link between drivers, hauliers, warehouse teams and transport colleagues to keep vehicles, paperwork and information accurately managed.

A typical day involves booking drivers, allocating vehicles, maintaining documentation and handling queries. Strong organisational skills and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong administration and organisational skills, ideally in transport/logistics/fast-paced operations.
• Ability to communicate confidently with drivers, hauliers and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Book in drivers and ensure site procedures are followed.
• Allocate vehicles to loading/unloading bays and support outbound dispatch.
• Prepare, scan, file and maintain transport and operational docs.
• Respond to queries from drivers, hauliers, customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transport and planning teams to support priorities.
