Job summary

Connect2Dudley, trading as Dudley & Kent Commercial Services LTD, Dudley, is seeking a Traffic Engineering Lead in Dudley with hybrid working arrangements. You will lead the design and delivery of traffic management and road safety schemes, advise on traffic management strategy and policy, and oversee a small team delivering schemes and Traffic Regulation Orders.

The role is offered through Connect2Dudley with a daily rate of £250 umbrella (£191.15 PAYE).

Responsibilities

• Directing on traffic management and road safety technical and legal matters.
• Considering Road Traffic Accident information and relevant data to develop programmes of work for delivery.
• Interpretation of traffic management proposals and coordinating value engineering proposals for scheme implementation.
• To ensure a high standard of service is provided to people affected‑by the work of the Section and ensure appropriate notifications are served and full and proper consultation as appropriate is undertaken
