Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Traffic Engineer in London for a role focused on delivering feasibility, consultation, design and implementation of sustainable transport schemes. The position requires experience in traffic schemes within a Local Authority and AutoCAD proficiency.

This is a contract-based opportunity with flexible working arrangements. The candidate will manage projects under LIP and TfL-funded programmes, coordinating with Parking, Highways and Transport Planning teams to achieve

• AutoCAD experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feasibility, consultation, design and implementation of sustainable transport schemes across the traffic engineering discipline (road safety, bus priority, cycling etc).
• Manage projects within the Local Implementation Plan (LIP), other TfL funded programmes and planning agreements (Section 106 Planning Act).
• Collaborate with Parking, Highways and Transport Planning groups to deliver team objectives.

An opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Engineer to join a busy client in London. This is a full-time permanent position. The rate on offer is £28 - £32 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver feasibility, consultation, design and implementation of sustainable transport schemes across the traffic engineering discipline (road safety, bus priority, cycling etc).
• Manage projects within the Local Implementation Plan (LIP), other Transport for London (TfL) funded programmes and planning agreements (Section 106 Planning Act).
• Contribute to the delivery of the wider teams objectives, customer centred, integration with Network Management and collaborative working with Parking, Highways and Transport Planning groups.

About you:
