An established industry player is seeking a Nightshift Manager to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee nightly operations, ensuring the store is ready for customers each morning. Your leadership will drive performance, manage team dynamics, and uphold exceptional service standards. With a commitment to inclusivity and employee wellbeing, this company offers a supportive atmosphere where your contributions are valued. Join a team that prioritizes both customer satisfaction and colleague support, while enjoying a range of attractive benefits and a competitive salary package.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading a team overnight, to replenish the store whilst getting stuck in yourself to prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and replenish shelves.
Often, you get to run a full store operation on your own overnight, being responsible for the full shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
Making sure that standards are brilliant come morning so we’re ready to serve our customers.
People management is a big part of the role, managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries and ensuring scheduling and pay are accurate.
To help support this lifestyle, our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, as well as receiving a £4,500 premium on top of your base salary.
What makes a great nightshift manager:
Working for us has great rewards:
Salary will be dependent upon your experience as well as the store size, complexity and location. Alongside this, we also offer a great range of benefits for our managers, including:
An inclusive place to work and shop:
We are committed to being a fully inclusive retailer where everyone feels welcome, where our customers love to shop, and our colleagues love to work. With this in mind, whilst working for us, we offer enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave, support for carers, and resources to help you understand and support your team. We also have internal colleague networks to make sure we have true representation for everyone; these help us highlight barriers that our colleagues may face so we can focus on removing these. Managing in our stores:
Our management teams are at the heart of operations in store. They lead by example – inspiring and motivating our teams to give their best for every customer every day. From product availability and health and safety to running the day-to-day operation, there’s no part of the in-store experience they don’t get to influence and improve. And what they do makes work better for our colleagues and shopping better for our customers.
