We are excited to be able to offer the post of Trading Standards Team Leader at North Lincolnshire Council.
The Team Leader position is a full-time, permanent post and the successful candidate will provide day to day operational management of staff undertaking a wide range of Trading Standards functions including:
• Metrology
• Product Safety including underage sales, explosives and petroleum licensing
• Fair Trading
• Feed and Animal Health including the Dog Warden service.
You will have a detailed practical knowledge of Trading Standards regulation.
You will be able to deploy resources using an intelligence led, risk based methodology in accordance with council priorities and outcomes.
You will need -
• A statutory qualification to act as a Trading Standards Officer, Inspector of Weights and Measures
• A qualification to be able to act as lead feed officer under the FSA Feed code of practice
• A demonstrable track record of managing staff within a busy operational multi-disciplinary team
Applicants for the post require a full driving licence and car or other means of transport.
