Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trading Planning Lead to build the Store's integrated trading plan, aligning launches, promotions, pricing, catalogue, lifecycle and events into a clear roadmap with defined outcomes.

The role is an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Manager, Planning & Proposition, collaborating across Trading Optimisation, Catalogue Planning, Promotions, Finance, Monetisation, Merchandising, Editorial, Analytics and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in trading, commercial planning, or ecommerce.
• Experience building integrated plans and running planning cycles.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability with KPI focus.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to turn inputs into concise plans.
• Experience in digital commerce, games, or high-volume content is a plus.
• Knowledge of promotions, pricing, and catalogue planning.
• Experience with forecasting and performance-to-plan reviews.
• Hands-on experience with data-led decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build the integrated 360 trading plan and align launches, promotions, pricing, and lifecycle.
• Coordinate planning inputs for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews and track actions.
• Maintain central planning sources, calendars and dependencies for consistent planning.
• Partner with Finance, Insights and Analytics to surface drivers and risks.
• Identify trade-offs, present options, and recommended actions to Store leaders.
• Improve processes, SLAs, automation and governance to speed delivery.
