Job Summary

As a Product Manager in Trade and Working Capital- Structured Working Capital, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. You guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. You collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations, with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and stability.

Trade & Working Capital (TWC) is a division of Payments. For more than 200 years, J.P. Morgan has helped clients make trade payments, access liquidity, and manage risk. We connect counterparties with market-leading solutions in Core Trade, Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Structured Working Capital (Receivables Finance, Inventory Finance, Borrowing Base Finance, Pre-Export Finance), and Export Finance. Our strength lies in our expertise, technology, and global network, enabling us to deliver powerful solutions worldwide.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop a comprehensive product strategy and vision focused on Structured Working Capital, particularly Receivables and Inventory Finance, to deliver significant value to customers.
  2. Collaborate with Product partners across multiple trade products and regions to implement the SWC strategy and manage the portfolio.
  3. Oversee product governance, risk, and control environments, including approvals, renewals, and collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.
  4. Ensure products meet regulatory, control, and compliance standards prior to launch and during renewals.
  5. Conduct market research to identify customer solutions and incorporate them into the product roadmap.
  6. Manage the rollout of new systems, working with Technology to align with product goals and improve client experience.
  7. Serve as the primary contact for risk, product control partners, regulators, and governance bodies.
  8. Coordinate reviews with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and internal audit teams.
  9. Maintain and develop a product backlog aligned with the strategic roadmap and value proposition.
  10. Establish success metrics for the product, including cost, features, risk, and reliability.
  11. Work with Finance to ensure accurate reporting of the global Profit and Loss (P&L).
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience or expertise in Trade Finance product management.
  • Experience within Receivables Finance in a banking or factoring environment.
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics.
  • Experience in developing innovative solutions tailored to client and market needs.
  • Ability to lead product lifecycle activities from discovery to value management.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of additional product sets like Inventory Finance, Borrowing Base Finance, or Export Finance is advantageous.
  • Securitization experience is a plus.
