As a Commodities Client Service Account Manager Vice President within the Trade & Working Capital Client Service, you will be responsible for servicing Core and Structured Trade Finance products. You will use in-depth product knowledge to resolve challenging client-facing issues during the product lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the lifecycle of transactions after sale.
- Build relationships with the client segment, internal operations, middle and front office colleagues.
- Track client transactions through operational steps and liaise with internal parties for smooth handling and quick turnaround.
- Provide client reporting to enhance their experience, including discrepancy analysis, inquiry volume and type, early payment opportunities, digital solutions.
- Support operational workflow to resolve refusals, disputes, and problematic transactions.
- Record all client interactions in the case management system (e.g., calls, meetings, issues, proactive communications).
- Escalate client concerns and issues to sales via secure communication channels.
- Understand the commodity products lifecycle from front to back and serve as the "go-to" person within the team.
- Partner with Trade Sales as a trusted advisor to enable new business and solutions.
- Collaborate with client service, operations, compliance teams, and other regions to standardize processes and improve consistency.
- Communicate with clients to resolve immediate issues on live transactions and understand their long-term needs to inform business decisions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of LC/SBLC mechanisms for commodity products.
- Strong understanding of the oil & gas and commodities industries.
- Familiarity with key market practices in the sector.
- Ability to explain LC requirements to internal stakeholders, assessing risks and mitigants.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively at various organizational levels.
- Proven leadership skills and performance under pressure.
- Focus on client satisfaction and building excellent relationships.

- Trade finance commodity expertise.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working within tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to develop and mobilize internal networks and resources.
- Proficiency in managing multiple systems.
- Additional European language skills (preferred).
