As a Product Manager in Trade & Working Capital (TW&C), with a focus on Structured Working Capital (SWC) and Export & Agency Finance (EAF), you will have accountability and ownership for product governance. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
TW&C is a division of J.P. Morgan Payments. TW&C connects counterparties with market-leading Supply Chain Finance, Receivables Finance, Contract Monetization, Working Capital Lending, EAF, and Traditional Trade solutions.
Job responsibilities
- Manage product governance, risk, and control environment, including approvals, renewals, expansion, and cross-functional collaboration with Risk, Legal, and Compliance.
- Collaborate with risk & control management for developing or expanding SWC/EAF products through structured change management processes (e.g., product capabilities, onboarding products/booking locations/benchmarks/currencies).
- Ensure products obtain required regulatory, controls, and compliance sign-offs prior to expansion and during renewals/updates.
- Serve as the key contact for 2nd line risk and product control partners, regulators, and local governance bodies; engage with the regulatory capital team and complete renewal of CRR opinions.
- Own, maintain, and develop a product backlog supporting strategic roadmap and value proposition.
- Lead firmwide internal projects impacting the existing portfolio as needed.
- Update Originators/Execution Control on regulatory developments affecting origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of deals.
- Work closely with SWC transactors to facilitate early deal closing through stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and update EAF KYC Matrix, Know Your Product documentation, Product Catalogue Governance, and internal website as appropriate.
- Lead development of procedures to ensure adherence to firmwide policies across all business aspects, including origination, execution, distribution, and control testing.
- Lead revenue reconciliation and attribution tasks; build frameworks to track key success metrics such as cost, features, risk posture, and reliability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant experience or expertise in Export & Agency Finance, Receivables Finance, or Securitization.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines across complex initiatives with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in developing innovative solutions tailored to client and market needs.
- Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle, design, and data analytics.
- Proven ability to lead product lifecycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
