Invenire Group in London is seeking a hands‑on Trade Support and Investment Operations professional at an exciting early stage. You will work closely with the investment team and management on trade execution, settlement, and operational workflow in a dynamic hedge fund environment.

The role offers exposure to multiple aspects of the business and opportunities to develop beyond a traditional trade support position, with a salary range of £75,000–£95,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in trade support, middle office or investment operations, ideally in hedge funds or asset management.
• Good understanding of financial products and trade lifecycle, exposure to fixed income/equities/derivatives is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to interpret trading activity beyond operations.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a recently established investment management firm in London. Working closely with the investment team and senior management, this is a broad, hands‑on role combining trading support, middle office and investment operations.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to multiple aspects of the business, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and wants to develop beyond a traditional trade support role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the investment team across trade execution, booking, confirmation and settlement.
• Monitor trading activity, positions, cash balances and P&L, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Liaise with prime brokers, counterparties, custodians and fund administrators to ensure smooth trade lifecycle management.
• Support collateral, margin, financing and cash management processes.
• Work closely with portfolio managers on trading queries, operational issues and ad hoc analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements, automation and the development of operational infrastructure as the business grows.
• Gain exposure to broader fund operations, including valuations, risk monitoring and reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience within trade support, trading assistant, middle office or investment operations, ideally gained within a hedge fund or asset management firm. Candidates from investment banks will also be considered.
• Good understanding of financial products and the trade lifecycle, ideally with exposure to fixed income, equities and/or derivatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand trading activity beyond the operational process.
