What You'll Do
- Operate trading and middle/back-office systems and work with technology support to fix issues affecting trade processing.
- Liaise with Sales, Trading and Client Coverage to resolve queries on allocations, confirmations, breaks and trade status.
- Ensure all exchange trades are cleared by EOD, providing clearing teams with complete allocations and chasing clients for missing information and confirmations.
- Identify and elevate operational risks and errors, draft error reports and work with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Support Clearing during outages and provide Execution Sales with commentary on material volume/value changes for regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with FIX/Connectivity, vendors, technology and Clearing to onboard clients, configure CATS allocation flows, amend mappings and improve processes.
- Maintain and update system documentation and SOPs, promote best practice through coaching, and help manage execution rate-card changes.
What You Bring
- Proven trade support experience within a financial services or investment banking environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting futures and options.
- Solid trade settlement and clearing background.
- Degree educated or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Detail-oriented with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Energetic, results-focused team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, shows strong work ethic and supports innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent professional communication skills for dealing with clients, intermediaries and internal stakeholders at all levels, with advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
