Pontoon is recruiting a Trade Support Middle Office Representative for a 12-month contract in Manchester. The role is hybrid, requiring four days in the client’s Manchester office and one day remote as standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Middle Office environment is required.
• Experience with security settlement processes is essential.
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income, and breaks handling is advantageous.
• Experience in a client-facing role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and research on complex transactions and provides solutions to inquiries.
• Acts as subject matter expert and escalates complex inquiries from lower levels.
• Maintains trade data, enriches trades, and handles exceptions and market claims.
• Performs complex reconciliations analysis (cash, asset, trade matching, market value) and resolves breaks.
• Participates in monthly end-client statement workflows, ad hoc reporting, and incident management.
• Identifies and escalates issues affecting IBOR accuracy within the team.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliations for complex transactions.
• Interacts with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted inquiries.

We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile Banking clients. They are currently looking for a Trade Support Middle Office Representative to join their team for a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities for the Role:

• Performs analysis and research on the most complex transactions and identifies solutions to complex inquiries.
• Serves as subject matter expert and conducts research to gather information on the most complex, multi-faceted transactions and provides answers to complex inquiries that have been escalated by lower levels.
• Responsible for or facilitating the maintenance of trade static data, trade enrichment, and trade exception handling and market claims.
• Responsible for the complex reconciliations analysis (cash, asset, trade matching, and market value), break assignment, resolution of reconciliation breaks, and trade fails.
• May also participate in monthly end-client statement workflow, ad hoc reporting, and incident management.
• Identifies resolves and escalates any issues that affect the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) within the team.
• Exercises own judgement and collaborates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliations of accounts for complex or atypical transactions.
• Regularly interacts with clients in answering questions and resolving multifaceted inquiries for complex transactions.
• Contributes to the achievement of teams objectives.

Location:
