Haldane Group in Larne is seeking a Trade Counter Sales Person for PlumbMaster. You will serve trade and retail customers at the counter, advise on building materials, and maximise profitable sales while ensuring accurate quotes and orders.

Trade Counter Sales – PlumbMaster - Larne

We're looking for a Trade Counter Sales Person to join us. In this role you'll serve trade and retail customers at the counter, advising on products and maximising profitable sales.You'll be the trusted face of Haldane Group, helping customers get exactly what they need.Most of all, it's a role where what you do really matters - every day you'll help our customers build with confidence.

What you'll be doing

• Serve customers quickly and helpfully.
• Advise on products and availability.
• Process sales, quotes and orders accurately.
• Maximise add-ons and margin.
• Maintain merchandising and stock.

What you'll bring

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Previous experience in a trade counter or customer-facing role

• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
• A target‑driven mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a branch team
• Knowledge of, or a keen interest in, building materials, timber, and hardware
• Customer service / sales aptitude.
• Willingness to learn products.
• A genuine pride in your work, and a way of working that reflects a helpful, can-do manner.

Hours:Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 17.00pm

Fridays 8:00am – 16.00pm

Saturdays (alternating) 8am-12.30pm.
