Job summary

Plumb Centre in Suffolk is seeking a Sales Assistant to join the team. The role involves serving customers at the trade counter, handling inquiries by phone and email, and driving sales while supporting warehouse operations.

The position is full-time with standard hours and Saturday on a rota basis. Ideal candidates will have experience in face-to-face sales, a team-oriented attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Plumbing & Heating knowledge is ideal.
• Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers on the trade counter by assessing needs and giving product recommendations.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Make outbound calls to previous customers to regain business.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to drive sales within the branch.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including stock input, put-away, and picking/packing orders.
