HSBC is seeking a highly motivated Trade Controls & Governance Analyst to join its Markets & Securities Services in London. The role provides governance oversight across regulatory, conduct and risk management for the Investment Banking business.

You will work with Trade Conduct Control teams to monitor emerging risks, support audits, and contribute to control enhancement projects. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Risk Management, Regulatory Controls or Governance within an Investment Banking environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for engaging senior stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, reporting and analytical skills.
• Experience delivering or supporting change, transformation or project initiatives.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly.

Responsabilités

• Host weekly and monthly governance meetings covering Regulatory Documentation, Volcker, Conduct Controls, SMMD and Benchmark Monitoring activities.
• Provide updates on emerging risks and key control issues to senior management stakeholders.
• Support technical and operational projects focused on improving controls and business processes.
• Produce and maintain KPI reporting, tracking and governance MI.
• Support internal and external audit requirements, as well as regulatory requests.
• Assist with governance activities across risk, conduct and control frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and reduce operational, regulatory and reputational risk.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile governance and controls function, supporting regulatory, conduct and risk management activities across the Investment Banking business.

In this role, you will work closely with the Trade Conduct Control teams to provide governance oversight, support regulatory and audit requirements, monitor emerging risks and contribute to continuous control enhancement projects.
