Job summary

Orla Rose Associates in London is seeking an experienced Trade Application Support Analyst to join our technology team on the trading floor. This hands-on, front-office role focuses on supporting Fidessa and Bloomberg, managing FIX connectivity, and keeping the trading environment running smoothly.

You will work closely with traders and brokers to resolve issues quickly, provide desktop and infrastructure support across the floor, and monitor market connectivity across CME, ICE and Eurex.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Fidessa experience in a support/operational environment.
• Good working knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal.
• Working knowledge of FIX protocol and order-flow troubleshooting.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle across front and back office.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd-line support for front-office trading applications
• Support Fidessa order management, execution workflows and connectivity
• Troubleshoot rejected/stuck orders and investigate order-flow issues
• Administer and support the Bloomberg Terminal estate
• Support listed derivatives trading across CME, ICE and Eurex
• Troubleshoot FIX connectivity, messages, logs, session drops and rejects
• Monitor exchange, counterparty and market-data connectivity
• Investigate trade breaks across front and back-office systems
• Work directly with traders, brokers, exchanges and technology vendors
• Provide wider desktop and infrastructure support across the trading floor

Trade Application Support Analyst – Trading Floor

Location: London (5 days in the office)

We’re recruiting an experienced Trade Application Support Analyst to join the technology team of an established financial markets business in London. This is a hands-on, front-office role supporting a busy broking floor trading Listed Derivatives, FX, Swaps and Bonds, with significant exposure to trading platforms, market connectivity and the full trade lifecycle.

The primary focus will be supporting the firm’s core trading applications, particularly Fidessa and Bloomberg, and working directly with traders and brokers to resolve issues quickly and keep the trading environment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 1st and 2nd-line support for front-office trading applications
• Support Fidessa order management, execution workflows and connectivity
