About the Role

As a Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Head of Pricing & Pricing Managers.

You will drive the day-to-day analysis of trade performance for ASOS product categories across all business units, producing data insight packs to support decision making, and will work collaboratively with the product teams to produce and maintain commitment and OTB monitors.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Delivering against existing strategy by executing deliverables against key milestones.
2. Producing pre-season and in-season analysis packs at product category level across all business units.
3. Participating in trade meetings with Pricing Managers and Head of Pricing by supporting with the delivery of trade packs.
4. Delivering insights on external market data to satisfy internal trade data.
5. Creating 'theme' packs on pricing and price architecture to support product and channel teams.
6. Overlaying performance analysis with additional customer data to support trade decision making.
7. Being responsible for dashboarding and reporting suites across price status teams.
8. Challenging existing analytical approach and continually driving new approaches to data insights.
9. Incorporating the requirements of channel teams into data packs to ensure product requirements to enable visibility of local demand.
10. Making judgements based on previous practice and precedence using pre-season & in-season performance packs.
11. Providing Head of Pricing and Pricing Managers with analytical support to enable strategic decision making.
12. Using variable contribution as a key measure of success.
13. Providing analysis and visibility of the end-to-end performance KPIs at product category & price status level.

1. Commercial approach to data insights.
2. Strong numerical acumen.
3. Proven experience in fashion merchandising and/or data insights.
4. Experience in maintaining sales, stock, intake and OTB trackers/forecasts.
5. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to work cross-functionally to drive the best results for ASOS.com.
7. Strong organisational skills, able to use initiative and to work in a pressurised environment.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and appropriately with colleagues at all levels.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Excel to an intermediate/advanced level.
11. Proficient in Power BI, dashboarding maintaining & SQL.
12. A bonus is experience with external price matching software.
