Job summary

Crawley Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Patch Assistant to help keep Crawley’s town centre clean, safe and well maintained. You will perform litter picking, bin emptying, sweeping, graffiti removal and fly-posting clearance, using cleansing equipment safely and professionally.

The role requires reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work outdoors and independently. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, and you may work flexibly across the Neighbourhood Services

Responsibilities

• Litter picking, emptying bins, sweeping and removing graffiti and fly posters.
• Clearing fly tipping.
• Operate cleansing equipment and tools following safety procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the town centre.
• Follow policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Be flexible across the Neighbourhood Services division.
