Job summary

Wavin in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Toolroom Machinist to support day-to-day tooling activities, maintenance and continuous improvement within the Toolroom and engineering department. You will operate manual machining tools and keep tooling availability high while following Wavin H&S standards.

The successful candidate will mentor Apprentices and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, showing initiative and attention to detail to deliver high-quality tooling solutions for

Qualifications

• Experienced bench fitter or machinist with tooling background.
• Ability to operate toolroom equipment including manual lathe and grinders.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Commitment to H&S and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carryout day to day toolmaking activities and tooling service.
• Perform planned maintenance and improvement on tools.
• Maintain tooling availability and monitor performance.
• Mentor Apprentices within Toolroom and engineering.
• Adhere to H&S standards and Safe Working Practices.
