Job summary

EnerMech in Aberdeen is seeking a Workshop Technician to join the Equipment Rental department on a permanent basis. The role is based in the Tooling Workshop, working 37.5 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.

Duties include inspecting, testing and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic tools; routine checks before dispatch and after return; assembling, configuring and calibrating tools to client specifications; identifying faults and carrying out repairs or refurbishments; replacing

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop environment is required.
• Experience in an Oil & Gas Service company is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical based equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic tools to ensure they are safe and fit for purpose.
• Perform routine checks on equipment before dispatch and after return.
• Assemble, configure, and calibrate tools according to job specifications and client requirements.
• Identify faults or wear and carry out repairs or refurbishments to restore tools to operational condition.
• Replace damaged or worn-out parts using precision tools and manufacturer guidelines.
• Provide support for mobilisation/demobilisation of tooling equipment.
