Job summary

Canadian Inclusion is seeking a Tooling Coordinator (Manufacturing) in the United Kingdom. The role oversees tool improvements, project completion, and coordination of tool-related manufacturing and quality issues while driving cost reduction and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include tracking corrective actions, maintaining tooling practices, and coordinating with departments to meet schedules. Requires licensed toolmaker status and automotive tooling experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed toolmaker or equivalent certification.
• 5–10 years related experience in automotive tooling, esp. progressive dies and transfer tooling.
• Ability to effectively make decisions and solve problems.
• Familiarity with production systems and processes.
• Analytical abilities, mechanical inclination and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• CAN DO attitude.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Tracks tool-related corrective actions to process owners and monitors updates.
• Ensures completion of tooling projects and evaluates effectiveness.
• Maintains up-to-date tooling practices and procedures to ensure manufacturing effectiveness.
• Establishes methods to meet work schedules and coordinates with other departments.
• Requisitions materials and supplies; ensures safe working conditions.
• Sets up machines and writes CNC programs.
