Job summary

Real Staffing in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced engineer to partner with quality and production to ensure moulding processes meet specifications and performance targets. You will drive maintenance programs, manage projects to milestones and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

The role requires knowledge of molding, extrusion and polymer technologies, plus CAD experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification in engineering/science/moulding.
• Degree level preferable.
• 5-7 years+ relevant experience.
• Knowledge of molding, extrusion and/or polymer processes.
• Experience with project/process management and technology transfer/NPI.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with AutoCad and Solidworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with quality to ensure product attributes and performance meet specifications.
• Maintain records and documentation on relevant engineering procedures and maintenance.
• Lead projects against agreed project milestones.
• Coordinate with internal/external engineering personnel and contract maintenance providers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Liaise with Marketing, Business Development, Customers, Suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Establish calibration, maintenance and spare parts programmes.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Regulatory, GMP requirements and AbbVie policies.
