Zusammenfassung

GE Aerospace Gloucestershire is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Tooling on an 18-month fixed-term contract. You will define tooling requirements, convert design intent into tooling and supervise from first request to shop floor readiness, working with design, sourcing, quality and health & safety teams.

You will contribute to APQP, FMEA and control plans while keeping tooling within budget and in step with Lean and Six Sigma processes.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering qualification at HNC level or above.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, BOMs and technical specs.
• Knowledge of GD&T and capital versus operating expenditure.

Aufgaben

• Turn manufacturing requirements into SoWs, TDS and T&E lists.
• Own tooling plan, priorities and status from request to commissioning.
• Collaborate with design, sourcing, quality and safety teams.
• Lead trials and drive ECNs with SME input.
• Create clear work instructions and routings for tooling use.
